Rate That Movie: Frozen

So for a while now there has been this huge buzz about this Disney animation Frozen, which apparently generated over a billion dollars at the box office. I just recently got the movie and decided to watch it over the weekend to see what all the fuzz was about. I tell you with heaviness of heart that the movie sucked way more than i expected, like there were irrational things happening even from the first scene. Why would any resonable adult bring a child on a ice picking or whatever trip, the risk is way too high, he could have fallen into the water and frozen to death, or just easily fallen off somewhere during the climb to the northern mountains where they get the ice. Later in the movie they made it clear that the boy had no family and thats why he was taken in by trolls, so i ask this, who were the men he went ice picking with in the first scene? They all had similar clothing and stuff so i figured they were in the same clan or whatever. And that movie makes the trip to the dreaded northern mountains seem like a trip to the park, like it takes them no time at all to go there and return.

Elsa or however her name is spelt has powers and no other person does, and how does this movie justify this, by saying she was born with them, wow that makes things so much clearer. The troll father or whatever said the heart would be a problem if frozen but the head is easily persuaded, like what! How does that even apply? Yea i know its animation and i should go easy on it but damn, that had too much bullshit in it. The King and Queen decided to lock up their little children forever, thats like pushing them to have pyschological issues right. And the wise father compels his daughter not to ever use her powers, instead of teaching her to control it since keeping it in check obviously wasn't working but hey, they needed a reaon for her powers to go crazy on her coronation so the father must be stupid. 

So the king and his queen die and no family members whatsoever come to contest for the throne with the daughters? Come on, there should be a male relative somewhere who thinks he deserves the throne. Ok fast forward to coronation day and i know Anna is anxious to relate and all that so she runs into this prince who she expects to fall in love with and all that crap, and guess what, he's the 13th in line to the throne in his kingdom, not  getting my point yet, i mean why would you send the 13th in line to attend a Queen's coronation, that's a big insult, so his 12 siblings had better things doing ey, wars have been started for less. If Queen Elsa was important to King of that kingdom he should have sent the crown prince at least if he couldn't go himself.

For some reason on coronation day she couldn't hold back her powers and froze over the whole kingdom without even knowing, like seriously if she was capable of that she should have at least been freezing large areas prior to that not just freeze the entire kingdom after so long without a single incident. And all of a sudden she can create castles with intricate designs, living snowmen and golems and even change her dress with her powers (like the fuck) without any training whatsoever.
And after she froze her sisters heart the cure ended up being love, i was just like

And after the whole ordeal the way to fix the whole ice age incident she caused is by channeling love like seriously, and after taking back all the snow and ice that filled the entire kingdom it ended up being just an oversized snowflake.

The only reason i finish the movie was because i already planned to post about it, and i didn't mention a ton of other rubbish the movie had to offer cuz it would just take wayyyyyyyy too long to type and no one would finish reading it. So the only reasons this movie should have made so much money are as follows

• There was absolutely nothing interesting going on when it came out.
• It was the holidays so i'm guessing a lot of little girls dragged their parents to see the movie.
• Unlike the actual story, the movie has great musicals, cuz i didn't listen to any of the songs i can't be a judge of that.
• Jazz was involved.

So in all I'll give the movie a 3.5 out of 10, and that's me being lenient cuz its an animation. Drop your own ratings for the movie in the comment section.
