Your Problems Are Valid

The fact is no matter who you are, where you're from and how much money you have you will have problems. There is no one living on planet Earth that has no problems and said problems vary in magnitude and importance. The truth is no matter how crazy your problems might seem to you, there are people out there that have it much worse, but does that make your problems any less real? No. Whenever i had an issue with something growing up, say i stopped liking my old shoes my and wanted new ones, i was usually reminded of how there are others out there without shoes whenever i tried to voice my complaints. Over the years I've had similar experiences when i complained about something in my life and i'm reminded that i have it much better than some people and i should be appreciative of what I've got but seriously does my situation have to be the absolute worst to be considered a valid problem? Sure i'm happy i don't have it has bad as a lot of people but a lot of people also have much easier lives than i do so why do i have to look at it just from one perspective.

This is something a lot of us have come across i'm sure, especially with religious fanatics. You complain about not having a private jet they tell you there are people who can't afford first class, you complain about not being able to afford first class they tell you there are people who can't afford economy, you complain about not being able to afford a trip by air they tell you there are people who can't afford to get on the bus, you complain about not being able to afford the bus they tell you there are people who don't have legs at all so in the end no matter the problem you voice, there are people who will think you are being proud and should be content with what you have without wanting more.

What you want is what you want, and whatever challenge you face no matter how small it might be compared to that of others is a challenge to you hence it is valid. The same way problems pale in comparison to others, success also pales in comparison to others, so complain about whatever situation you face because complaining means you want it to get better, and don't just complain make steps to change it. Complaining also doesn't have to be broadcast and turn to nagging, you can complain internally, and that does not mean you do not appreciate what you have at that moment, it just means you still yearn for more and improvement is something we should all continue to strive for, so whoever you are, your problems are valid.

  1. I hate when I have a problem and tell others about it and they just say others have worse problems, like so what? I'm working on helping those people and even if I wasn't, it would be my business! Every problem is valid. Agreed.
